Chapter Meetings & Activities

Wyandot Chapter is the only DAR chapter in Wyandotte County, Kansas, which includes all of Kansas City, Kansas, Bonner Springs, Edwardsville, and Piper. The chapter's 60th Anniversary was October 29, 2013. We welcome new members. You are invited to get in touch with us! Email. We will try and help you become a part of DAR and our chapter!

Wyandot Chapter DAR holds regular meetings throughout the year. Meetings are held on Saturdays to accomodate the schedules of working women.

All chapter meetings are opened with a prayer, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and the American's Creed, and singing the National Anthem or another patriotic song. After our business meeting we have an interesting program given either by guest speakers or our own members. The programs are based on Historic, Patriotic, Heritage, Conservation, Preservation, or Educational topics.
