About Our Chapter

The John and Hattie Possum Chapter was founded in 2013 in
De Soto, Kansas on land which was once owned by John Possum, a Shawnee Indian.  Our chapter proudly upholds the principles of the Daughters of the American Revolution: God, Home, and Country.  Our members represent a broad spectrum of ages, occupations, and interests.

Meetings are usually held the 1st Tuesday of the month from September through May.
