Prairie Rose Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution

Welcome!

Prairie Rose Chapter was founded in 1980 in Overland Park, Kansas, and has proudly upheld the principles of the Daughters of the American Revolution for its entire history. Our members represent a broad spectrum of age, occupation, and interest.

DAR, founded in 1890 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education for children.

If you are a woman 18 years or older who is a direct descendant of a Revolutionary War soldier or patriot and are interested in DAR membership, membership information can be found at the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution website. We welcome membership inquiries! If you share our love of God, Home, and Country, you will definitely be at home in DAR!

Please browse our website to learn more about our chapter.
