Welcome
The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution was six years old when the Eunice Sterling Chapter of Wichita, the third in Kansas, was organized October 21, 1896, with National Charter No. 284.
Eunice Sterling Chapter endeavors to participate in the National DAR projects, and throughout the year the main objectives of the Society – Historic Preservation, Patriotism, Education – are stressed.
The Eunice Sterling
Daughters celebrated the chapter centennial year by dedicating their second century to
"God, Home, and Country," as they continue the tradition of high ideals
and service envisioned by Mrs. Katherine Sterling Lewis; the
fourteen charter members; and the 1,532 Eunice Sterling
Chapter members during the past 119 years.
We welcome membership inquiries! If you
are a woman 18 years or older who is a direct descendant of
a Revolutionary War soldier or patriot and are interested in
DAR membership, membership information can be found at the
National Society Daughters of the American Revolution website. If
you share our love of God, Home, and Country, you will
definitely be at home in DAR!
